🏆🌐 KLAVIYO: Learn how to target customers in their preferred language! 🌐🏆

📝💬 There are 2 options for targeting people by language:

1️⃣ Segment by Estimated Location: Klaviyo automatically assigns estimated locations based on IP geolocation. While not perfect, it's an industry standard. To target based on location, create segments for specific language speakers in countries like the US, Canada, UK, etc. For example:

- Properties about someone > Country equals United States OR Canada OR United Kingdom OR Ireland OR Australia OR New Zealand

2️⃣ Collect Preferred Language via a Form:

- Use a signup form to ask for customers' preferred language.

- Navigate to the Sign-up forms tab, select the form you want to use, and click "Edit Form."

- Add a radio button option for preferred language and label it accordingly (e.g., "What's your preferred language").

- Make the radio button field required to ensure everyone selects a language.

- Create a new profile property (e.g., "Language") and add the language options as labels (e.g., English, French, Spanish).

- Assign corresponding values to each option (e.g., "English" would have the value "English").

- Click "Publish" when you're ready.

🌎🌐 Segment by Language Preference:

- Once you've collected language preferences, you can create segments based on the "Language" profile property. For example:

- Properties about someone > Language equals French (for French-speaking profiles).

✨🔎 Customize Email Content Based on Language:

- Now that you have created your segments, you can customize email content based on recipients' preferred language or location.

- Use show/hide blocks to display specific content for each segment. For instance, you can show German content to recipients in Germany and English content to US customers in a single email template.

- This approach avoids the need for separate Klaviyo accounts for each language, streamlining your marketing efforts.

📧🌐 More Customization Possibilities:

- For campaigns, you can target specific language segments by cloning and editing the campaign for each language.

- In flows, you can use conditional splits to achieve similar targeting for different language segments.

💬🔥 Now you're ready to deliver personalized content to your customers in their preferred language, enhancing engagement and customer satisfaction! 🔥💬
